Imagine finishing your shift and stepping outside into a landscape of jagged peaks, turquoise glacial lakes and endless Montana sky. That’s everyday life at St. Mary Village, located right at the eastern gateway to Glacier National Park – one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the United States. Pursuit is looking for energetic, reliable international students to join the kitchen team as Dishwashers for the Summer to Fall season.

About the Role

The dish team is the heartbeat of every great restaurant, and at St. Mary Village you’ll be a valued member of a fast, fun and supportive back-of-house crew. No previous experience is required – full training is provided from day one.

• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and hand-wash pots, pans and kitchen equipment
• Keep dish areas, floors and storage spaces clean, organised and sanitary
• Sort, stack and return clean dishes, glassware and cutlery to service stations
• Assist chefs and cooks with basic prep tasks and stock rotation when needed
• Take out trash, manage recycling and follow all health and safety standards
• Support your teammates during busy dinner rushes with a positive, can-do attitude

St. Mary, Montana sits at the entrance of the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road, considered one of the most beautiful drives on the planet. On your days off you can:

• Hike to St. Mary Falls, Virginia Falls and Grinnell Glacier
• Kayak or take a boat cruise on St. Mary Lake
• Spot grizzly bears, mountain goats, moose and bald eagles in the wild
• Watch some of the darkest, clearest starry skies in North America
• Road-trip to Many Glacier, Two Medicine, Waterton Lakes (Canada) and Yellowstone

• $16.00 per hour, paid every two weeks

What We’re Looking For

• University student aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 programme
• Conversational English and a friendly, team-first personality
• Physical stamina – you’ll be standing, lifting and moving throughout your shift
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for living in a remote, nature-focused location
• Availability from Summer through Fall
