Professional, neat and presentable. No facial hair for employees in food & beverage positions. Men's hair must be shorter than collar length. Must practice good hygiene - frequent bathing and deodorant is requested. No extreme hairstyles or colors, only one piercing allowed in each ear and you may be asked to cover tattoos.

Imagine waking up to sunlight at midnight, watching the Chena River glide past your workplace, and finishing your shift with an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness. HAP Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge is looking for energetic, reliable university students to join its housekeeping team as a Houseperson for the Summer to Fall season.

This is more than a summer job – it is a chance to live and work in one of the most spectacular corners of the United States, meet travellers from around the world, and build real hospitality experience with one of Alaska’s most respected lodge operators.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the housekeeping team by delivering fresh linens, towels and supplies to guest rooms and floors
  • Keeping hallways, lobbies, stairwells and public areas spotless and welcoming
  • Removing trash and used linens and transporting them to the appropriate areas
  • Restocking housekeeping carts and storage closets
  • Assisting with light lifting, moving furniture and setting up rooms as needed
  • Responding quickly and politely to guest requests
  • Working as part of an international team to keep the lodge running smoothly

Compensation & Benefits

  • $17.00 per hour – a strong Alaskan wage
  • 40 hours per week guaranteed schedule, with possible extra hours during peak season

  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
