HAP (Holland America Princess) Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge is one of Alaska’s premier riverside hotels, welcoming travellers from all over the world who come to experience the Last Frontier. As a Public Area Attendant, you’ll be part of a friendly, international team that keeps this beautiful property looking its absolute best.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleaning and maintaining lobbies, hallways, lounges, meeting rooms and public restrooms
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the property
• Keeping entrances, outdoor seating areas and riverside walkways tidy and welcoming
• Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues to the housekeeping team
• Greeting guests with a smile and answering simple questions or directing them to the front desk
• Supporting your housekeeping colleagues during busy check-in and check-out periods

What You’ll Earn

• $16.00 per hour – a strong rate that reflects Alaska’s higher wages
• 40 guaranteed hours per week, with possible overtime during peak season
• Season runs from summer through autumn – one of the longest and most rewarding programme periods available

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 enrolled in a Work & Travel USA programme
• Conversational English – enough to greet guests and follow instructions
• A positive attitude, reliability and strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina: you’ll be on your feet, walking, bending and lifting throughout your shift
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A team-player mindset and genuine enthusiasm for meeting people from around the world
