Professional, neat and presentable. No facial hair for employees in food & beverage positions. Men's hair must be shorter than collar length. Must practice good hygiene - frequent bathing and deodorant is requested. No extreme hairstyles or colors, only one piercing allowed in each ear and you may be asked to cover tattoos.

Imagine finishing your shift and stepping outside to snow-capped peaks, the roaring Nenana River, and maybe a moose wandering past your window. At HAP Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, located at the doorstep of Denali National Park, Alaska, you’re not just taking a summer job – you’re living in one of the last great wildernesses on Earth.

We’re hiring Room Attendants for the Summer to Fall season, and we’re looking for energetic university students ready for the adventure of a lifetime through the Work & Travel USA program.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the lodge’s high standards – making beds, changing linens, and refreshing towels
  • Vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms and living areas
  • Restocking amenities and supplies for arriving guests
  • Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
  • Working efficiently as part of a friendly, international housekeeping team
  • Greeting guests with a warm smile and helping create unforgettable Alaskan memories

Pay & Benefits

  • $16.00 per hour – a strong Alaskan wage
  • 40 guaranteed hours per week, with possible overtime during peak season
  • Season: Summer to Fall – one of the longest Work & Travel placements available

What We’re Looking For

  • University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
  • Conversational English – enough to communicate with guests and teammates
  • Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented
  • Physically fit – the role involves standing, bending, lifting and walking throughout your shift
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine love for teamwork
  • Willingness to live and work in a remote natural setting (limited shopping and nightlife – but unlimited nature!)
