Imagine finishing your shift and stepping outside to see snow-capped peaks glowing under the midnight sun, moose wandering past the treeline, and North America’s tallest mountain on the horizon. That’s an ordinary day at HAP Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, located at the doorstep of world-famous Denali National Park, Alaska.

We’re looking for energetic, friendly university students to join our restaurant team as Bussers for the Summer to Fall season. If you want a Work & Travel USA experience that’s genuinely unforgettable, this is it.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables quickly and efficiently between guests
• Supporting servers with drink refills, bread service and guest requests
• Restocking service stations with silverware, glassware, napkins and condiments
• Carrying bus tubs to the dish area and assisting the kitchen team during busy periods
• Keeping dining areas, floors and service zones spotless and guest-ready
• Greeting guests with a warm smile and helping create a memorable dining experience

Denali is six million acres of untamed wilderness — grizzly bears, caribou, wolves, glacial rivers and the mighty Denali peak at 20,310 feet. On your days off you can hike backcountry trails, take a park bus tour, go whitewater rafting on the Nenana River, try ziplining, or simply chase the northern lights as autumn arrives. The lodge sits right beside the park entrance, so adventure is literally a few steps from your door.

Pay & Benefits

• $13.00 per hour with approximately 40 hours per week
• Tips included — bussers share in the tip pool, boosting your total earnings

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 program
• Conversational English and confidence speaking with guests
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 15–20 kg throughout your shift
• Team spirit and flexibility with early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Availability for the full Summer to Fall season
