Your Responsibilities as a Room Attendant

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the lodge’s high standards
• Changing bed linens, making beds and refreshing towels and amenities
• Dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms and living areas
• Restocking supplies such as toiletries, coffee and paper products
• Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
• Keeping housekeeping carts, storage areas and corridors clean and organised
• Providing friendly, polite service to guests whenever you meet them in the hallways

Pay & Working Conditions

• Hourly rate: $17.00 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week (overtime may be available during peak season)
• Season: Summer to Fall – one of the longest and most profitable work periods in the programme

Requirements

• Full-time university student aged 18–25, eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA programme
• Conversational English (upper-beginner to intermediate is enough for this role)
• Good physical stamina – the job involves standing, walking, bending and lifting
• Attention to detail and pride in a job well done
• Reliable, punctual and ready to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays according to the hotel schedule
• Availability from early summer until fall
