HAP Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge is looking for energetic university students to join its housekeeping team as Laundry Attendants for the Summer to Fall season – and this is your chance to combine real hospitality experience with the adventure of a lifetime.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Laundry Attendant, you are the engine room of the lodge. Guests from all over the world sleep in crisp, fresh linens because of you. Your day-to-day duties include:
- Sorting, washing, drying and folding bed linens, towels and table cloths
- Operating commercial washers, dryers and ironing/folding equipment safely
- Inspecting linens for stains or damage and treating or removing items as needed
- Stocking and organizing linen closets and delivering clean linens to housekeeping staff
- Keeping the laundry area clean, tidy and well-organized
- Working closely with the housekeeping and front-of-house teams to keep the lodge running smoothly

The Package
- Pay: $17.00 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week (overtime may be available during peak season)
- Season: Summer to Fall

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 visa program
- Conversational English – enough to understand instructions and communicate with your team
- Physical stamina: you’ll be standing, bending and lifting linen bags throughout your shift
- Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
- A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- No previous experience required – full training is provided!
