What You’ll Be Doing

• Greeting and seating guests with a warm, welcoming attitude
• Presenting menus, answering questions and recommending dishes and drinks
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system
• Serving meals promptly and checking in with guests throughout their visit
• Setting, clearing and resetting tables; keeping your section clean and guest-ready
• Processing payments and thanking guests on their way out
• Supporting teammates during breakfast, lunch, dinner and busy weekend rushes

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $3.63 per hour (tipped position)
• Tips: Yes – tips make up a significant part of your total earnings, and busy summer beach traffic means great tipping potential
• Hours: approximately 32 hours per week
• Season: Summer to Fall – one of the longest and busiest earning windows on the coast

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 on a J-1 Work & Travel USA program
• Conversational to good English – you’ll be speaking with guests all day
• A friendly, energetic personality and genuine desire to help people
• Ability to stand, walk and carry trays throughout your shift
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and US holidays
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong team spirit
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
