Why choose Harrison Group Holiday Inn & Suites VA Beach - N Beach
About the Employer
The Harrison Group is a respected hospitality company operating quality hotels along the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Their Holiday Inn & Suites at North Beach is known for warm service, a family-friendly atmosphere and a supportive team culture where international students are welcomed every season. Managers understand the Work & Travel program and are experienced in training students with little or no prior hotel experience.
Housing
Housing is not provided – you must find and secure your own accommodation before coming to the United States, using contacts such as Virginia ISOP, Airbnb, Jimmy and Barbara Gallagher. You can reach work by bus, bike or on foot; the Virginia Beach Wave runs 8am to 2am about every 20 minutes. Within walking distance of housing there is a food market, shopping mall, post office, bank, restaurants, fitness center, internet cafe and public library.
Location
Why Virginia Beach?
Virginia Beach is one of the East Coast's favorite summer destinations — 5 kilometers of golden sand, a 3-mile boardwalk packed with bike paths, live music stages, cafés and street performers. The North Beach area is quieter and more residential, perfect for students who want a relaxed base close to the action.
On your days off you can surf, kayak in Back Bay, visit First Landing State Park, or take a short trip to Norfolk, Williamsburg, or even Washington, D.C. The city has a huge international student community every summer, so you'll never run out of people to explore with.
About Virginia
