Why Virginia Beach?
Virginia Beach is one of the East Coast’s favorite summer destinations — 5 kilometers of golden sand, a 3-mile boardwalk packed with bike paths, live music stages, cafés and street performers. The North Beach area is quieter and more residential, perfect for students who want a relaxed base close to the action.
On your days off you can surf, kayak in Back Bay, visit First Landing State Park, or take a short trip to Norfolk, Williamsburg, or even Washington, D.C. The city has a huge international student community every summer, so you’ll never run out of people to explore with.
About Virginia
Virginia combines historic towns with the lively Virginia Beach oceanfront. Summer work is plentiful in beach hotels, resorts and restaurants along the Atlantic coast.
