N Beach - Hostess
Welcome Guests to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront
Imagine starting your shift with the sound of waves in the background and finishing it with a sunset walk along the world-famous Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Harrison Group’s Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach – North Beach is looking for friendly, energetic international students to join their team as a Hostess for the Summer to Fall season.
This is your chance to work at a respected American hotel brand, build real hospitality experience, and make friends from around the world — all while living the classic American beach summer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests with a warm smile and seating them in the restaurant
- Managing the waiting list and seating chart during busy breakfast and dinner service
- Presenting menus and answering basic questions about the hotel and local area
- Keeping the host stand, entrance, and dining room tidy and welcoming
- Answering phones, taking reservations, and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff
- Assisting the service team with resetting tables and light support tasks during peak hours
Why Virginia Beach?
Virginia Beach is one of the East Coast’s favorite summer destinations — 5 kilometers of golden sand, a 3-mile boardwalk packed with bike paths, live music stages, cafés and street performers. The North Beach area is quieter and more residential, perfect for students who want a relaxed base close to the action.
On your days off you can surf, kayak in Back Bay, visit First Landing State Park, or take a short trip to Norfolk, Williamsburg, or even Washington, D.C. The city has a huge international student community every summer, so you’ll never run out of people to explore with.
