Busser
Spend Your Summer on America’s Oldest Summer Resort Town
Imagine finishing your shift and walking straight onto a wooden dock, with the sun setting over Lake Winnipesaukee and sailboats drifting past. That’s a regular Tuesday when you work at The Wicked Loon, a lively dockside restaurant operated by LocalTopia in the heart of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. We’re hiring energetic Bussers for the Work & Travel USA summer-to-fall season, and we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Busser, you are the engine room of the restaurant. Guests notice a clean, welcoming table before they notice anything else, and that’s where you shine. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Clearing, cleaning, sanitizing and resetting tables quickly between guests
- Setting tables with cutlery, glassware, napkins and condiments
- Supporting servers and hosts during busy lunch and dinner rushes
- Refilling water, delivering bread and helping run food to tables
- Keeping the dining room, dockside patio and service stations tidy and stocked
- Assisting with dish transport and end-of-shift cleaning duties
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and answering simple questions
