Imagine clocking in just steps from the sparkling shoreline of Lake Winnipesaukee. LocalTopia & The Wicked Loon is a lively dockside hospitality spot in the heart of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire – proudly known as “America’s Oldest Summer Resort.” We’re looking for friendly, energetic international students to join our Counter Help team for the Work & Travel USA season, from summer straight through the spectacular New England fall.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests with genuine warmth and helping them choose from our menu of local favorites
- Taking orders at the counter and processing payments accurately on the POS system
- Preparing and serving drinks, snacks, ice cream, and quick-service food items
- Keeping the counter, seating, and service areas clean, stocked, and looking sharp
- Restocking supplies, assisting with opening and closing duties, and supporting your teammates during busy dockside rushes
- Answering guest questions about the menu and about fun things to do around Wolfeboro

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Conversational English and confidence talking with customers
- A positive, can-do attitude and reliability – you show up on time, every time
- Ability to stand for your shift and work at a quick pace during peak lake-season hours
- Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
- No previous experience required – we’ll train you from day one
