Why Norwich, Vermont?
Norwich is the kind of American town you’ve seen in movies: a white-steepled church, a legendary general store, farmers’ markets, and covered bridges. It sits right across the Connecticut River from Hanover, New Hampshire, home of Dartmouth College – so there’s a lively student scene, cafés, and shops just minutes away.
On your days off, hike the Appalachian Trail, swim in a river swimming hole, kayak, cycle country roads, or visit iconic New England spots. Boston is only a couple of hours away, and Montreal, Canada is within easy weekend-trip distance. And if you stay into September and October, you’ll witness Vermont’s world-famous fall foliage – an experience travelers pay thousands of dollars for.
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English – enough to communicate with guests and teammates
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with physical work (standing, lifting, bending throughout the shift)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but full training is provided
