About the Position

Xanterra Travel Collection is the largest hospitality operator inside Yellowstone, running historic lodges, hotels, restaurants and gift shops across the park. As a Hospitality Crew member, you’ll be placed in one of these operations and cross-trained across several guest-facing and support roles, giving you real international resort experience for your CV.

Your Day-to-Day Duties

  • Welcoming and assisting guests from around the world with a friendly, service-first attitude
  • Supporting food & beverage operations: hosting, bussing, serving, or counter service
  • Housekeeping and public-area cleaning to keep lodges spotless and guest-ready
  • Retail and gift shop assistance, restocking and cashier duties
  • Basic setup, breakdown and cleaning of dining rooms, cafés and common areas
  • Working as part of an international team and communicating clearly in English

Requirements

  • University student aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) programme
  • Conversational to good English – you’ll be interacting with guests daily
  • Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable living in a remote mountain location with limited mobile coverage and no big-city nightlife
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle light physical work
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays and early or late shifts
  • Available for the full Summer–Fall season
