Grand Teton Lodge Company runs Jackson Lake Lodge, a full-service historic eco-hotel with 385 rooms and cottages, dining options and retail shops, in the heart of Grand Teton National Park in Moran, Wyoming. You will work in a multicultural team with people from all over the world, where a positive attitude toward guest service and a genuine interest in the outdoors matter most. Your free time can include hiking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, rafting, wildlife viewing and photography.
The job as Hospitality Crew (BOH)
What you'll do
- Cleaning guest rooms; vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, mopping and other duties
- Supporting the housekeeping staff by delivering large supplies of linen to the housekeeping closets on a golf cart to the appropriate locations
- Removing dirty linen, trash and recycling from housekeeping closets and in front of rooms
- Assisting in cleaning of guest rooms/cabins if needed
- Cleaning indoor and outdoor public areas; sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, litter pickup, emptying trash/smoke posts and other duties
- Laundering/drying/folding linens in a proper manner in order to ensure guest satisfaction
- Receiving, washing, drying, ironing or otherwise preparing for delivery all dirty linen, towels, rugs and bedspreads according to established procedures
- Filling specific job positions on a rotating basis, such as Dryer Operator, Shaker Sorter, Ironer, Feeder and Catcher, loading and unloading dryers
- Cleaning and stocking dorm bathrooms, all surfaces in dorm hallways, windows, employee common areas, and sweeping entryways
- Reporting maintenance requirements to Village Manager
- Promoting Activities Calendar to employees and assisting with rec activities promotion, recruitment and sign-ups
- Leading at least one weekly employee activity
- Daily cleaning of dishes, pot sinks, silverware, glassware, garbage disposal areas, kitchen/food prep equipment, employee cafeteria kitchen and bathrooms, by hand washing and the use of a commercial washing machine
- Prepping food products for cooking and serving within restaurants, including cutting, chopping, dicing vegetables, and using sharp knives
- Serving food to employees in the EDR, food prep for salad bar and stocking/serving food for employees to eat, including handling raw meat and meat products

Housing
You'll stay in dorm-style housing at Jackson Lake Lodge, sharing a room with 1-3 roommates. Each person gets their own bed plus dresser and/or closet space, with a shared bathroom down the hall. Linens, laundry, free Wi-Fi, 3 meals a day at the Employee Dining Room, employee activities and trips to Jackson are included; cooking isn't allowed. The dorms are onsite, within walking distance of work.
