Camden Maine Stay Inn is looking for energetic, reliable Work & Travel USA participants to join our Housekeeping team from summer through fall – the most beautiful season of the year in Maine.
Camden is regularly named one of the most charming small towns in America. As a member of our small, friendly inn team, you won’t just be another employee – you’ll be part of a close-knit crew that takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming experience for guests from all over the world.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard
- Changing bed linens, making beds, and restocking towels and amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and general tidying throughout the inn
- Handling laundry: washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to management
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping with simple requests
Pay & Working Conditions
- Hourly rate: $18.00 per hour
- Hours: approximately 35 hours per week
- Tips: Yes! Guests at boutique inns are generous, and tips add nicely to your earnings
- Season: Summer to Fall – stay for Maine’s spectacular autumn foliage
- Schedule: Mostly daytime shifts, leaving your afternoons and evenings free to explore

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a valid J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Conversational English – enough to understand instructions and greet guests
- Attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet, bending, and lifting linens
- Punctual, dependable, and ready to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and a genuine smile – our guests notice!
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required – we train you
