What You’ll Be Doing

• Greeting guests with a smile and taking food and beverage orders at fast-paced boardwalk and waterpark food outlets
• Preparing and serving classic American snacks — think pizza, burgers, fries, hot dogs, funnel cakes, ice cream and cold drinks
• Operating the cash register and handling payments accurately
• Restocking supplies, refilling condiment and drink stations, and monitoring inventory
• Keeping counters, dining areas, and kitchen spaces clean and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards
• Working as part of a team to keep service quick and lines moving during busy summer rushes

• Position: Food Service Team Member

• Location: Seaside Heights, New Jersey
• Pay: $15.50 per hour
• Hours: approximately 32 hours per week (overtime often available during peak season)
• Season: Summer through Fall
• Tips: Not applicable for this role
• Training provided — no previous restaurant experience needed

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
• Conversational English — enough to take orders and chat with guests

• Ability to stand for long shifts and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• Team spirit and a sense of humour — the boardwalk is busy, but it’s fun!
