The job as Food Service
What you'll do
- Set up and clean up kitchen and table areas, and sell/prepare various food items for customers.
- Cook or prepare food items according to procedures or recipes.
- Place food items on serving plates or dishes along with required condiments and utensils to present to customers.
- Prepare cold drinks, warm drinks, and other non-alcoholic beverages.
- Handle sales, including taking correct orders, entering sales in a cash register, taking money, counting out and giving correct change, and completing credit card transactions.
- Maintain and clean all Food Service areas, including preparation tables, equipment, dishes, floors, supply areas, refrigerators, coolers, sales areas, and customer areas.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service, responding to and resolving guest concerns and complaints.
- Keep supervisor/manager informed of situations relating to facility operation, patron complaints or concerns, accidents, emergencies, damages, and safety hazards.
- Attend departmental and team meetings and participate in training courses.

Housing
Housing is conditional, depending on arrival dates and other factors. Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach offer recently renovated houses and apartments; most rooms hold 3 people, some up to 4, and 2-person rooms are first-come, first-served. No single rooms. Each residence has a shared kitchen, bathroom and living room, plus TVs, internet/WiFi and basic cooking utensils. A lease agreement is required.
