Job duties
- Work one of the classic boardwalk games, attracting guests to the game and ensuring they have an unforgettable experience while playing to win the grand prize.
- Engage in fast-paced one-on-one communication and interaction with customers.
- Project towards potential customers and attract attention to the game.
- Use basic math skills for currency exchanges.
- Give an explanation and description of how each game is played.
- Maintain and replenish merchandise in midway games.
- Maintain cleanliness of the game area and merchandise prizes.

We’re hiring energetic university students for the Games Attendant position for the Summer to Fall season. If you love talking to people, laughing a lot and being the reason someone walks away with a giant stuffed animal, this job was made for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating classic boardwalk games – balloon darts, ring toss, basketball, water races and more
- Calling out to guests and drawing crowds to your game booth with your best hype-man energy
- Explaining game rules, collecting payments and handing out prizes to happy winners
- Keeping your booth clean, stocked with prizes and ready for action
- Handling cash and using a POS system accurately
- Delivering friendly, memorable customer service to families and beachgoers from all over the world
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Conversational English – you’ll be talking to guests all shift long
- Outgoing, high-energy personality and a genuine smile
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in summer weather
- Availability on evenings, weekends and US holidays – that’s when the boardwalk comes alive
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive team attitude
