Castle Farms in N Charlevoix, Michigan, is a premier destination wedding and event venue, as well as a historical site. Besides weddings, it hosts historical tours, concerts, game shows and private parties in its versatile event center, with up to four weddings happening in a single day.
Summers here are sunny, with temperatures averaging 75–85°F, and the beaches are a two-mile walk away. As a seasonal student, you get hands-on exposure to the fast-paced world of event coordination in a positive, supportive setting. Downtown shops, farmers markets, festivals and restaurants are close by, and housing is available for rent.
Housing
The employer provides housing with shared rooms for 2 students, with twin or bunk beds and bedding supplied (pillow, sheets, comforter); rooms are not co-ed and you can request to room with a friend. It includes a TV, secured WiFi, a kitchenette with stove, fridge, microwave and cookware, a shared bathroom, air conditioning, heat, and a stackable washer and dryer. A lease agreement applies.
