The job as Retail Associate
What you'll do
- Engage guests – assist with selection and advice in choosing products and information about the Park
- Keep the shop looking great – clean, organize, and merchandise
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Help your teammates
- Help maintain inventory and up-to-date product availability

Housing
Housing is employer-provided and required: shared communal living in a remote, rural area, ranging from dorm-style to apartment, condo or single-family home. Rooms hold 1-3 people, so expect at least one roommate. You get a bed, clothes storage, bed and bath linens, a shared fully equipped kitchen, shared laundry and limited Wi-Fi, all within walking or biking distance of work.

Apgar Village sits right on Lake McDonald, famous for its colourful rainbow pebbles and mirror-like reflections.
On your days off you can drive the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road, hike to Avalanche Lake, kayak, paddleboard, spot mountain goats and bears, watch some of the darkest, most star-filled night skies in the USA, and explore nearby Whitefish and Kalispell. Many students also add trips to Yellowstone, Seattle or Canada at the end of the season.
