Why Denali?
Denali National Park is home to North America’s tallest mountain (6,190 m) and over 24,000 km² of untouched wilderness. On your days off you can join a wildlife bus tour, raft the Nenana River, hike alpine tundra trails, try zip-lining, or simply chase the midnight sun — in Alaska’s summer, daylight lasts almost around the clock. By late season, you might even catch your first glimpse of the northern lights.
The lodge sits along the Nenana River Canyon, just minutes from the park entrance and the lively “Glitter Gulch” strip of shops, cafés and bars where seasonal workers from all over the world gather after shifts.
