General information
Job duties
- Removing and collecting linens for laundering and transporting them to designated areas.
- Cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner.
- Dusting furniture and equipment.
- Emptying wastebaskets and cleaning them inside and out.
- Cleaning tiled floors with the use of brooms and mops.
- Using chemical-based products to clean tubs, sinks, countertops, mirrors, toilets, door panels and shower curtains.
- Replenishing trash bags, soaps, bathroom items, and other supplies.
- Transporting all trash and waste to disposal areas, as instructed.
- Removing items from refrigerator, stove, and microwave.
- Cleaning refrigerator, stove, microwave, and any additional appliances inside and out.
- Loading and unloading dishes from the dishwasher, drying dishes, and putting them away in proper places.
- Demonstrating a high level of customer service and responding to and resolving guest concerns and complaints.
- Keeping supervisor/manager informed of situations relating to facility operation, patron complaints or concerns, accidents, emergency situations, damages, and potential safety hazards.
- Attending departmental and team meetings and participating in all additional training courses.
- Performing all duties in a safe manner.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the morning housekeeping team, you’ll be the reason guests fall in love with their stay. Your day-to-day duties include:
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms – making beds, changing linens, and arranging amenities
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms to Harrison Group’s high standards
- Vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces throughout rooms and hallways
- Restocking towels, toiletries, and in-room supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
- Keeping housekeeping carts, storage areas, and linen rooms organized
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping with simple requests

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Basic to intermediate conversational English
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning starts
- Physically able to work on your feet, bend, lift linens, and move between rooms
- Attention to detail and pride in a job well done
- Positive, team-friendly attitude – no previous experience required, full training provided
