Job duties
- Assisting housekeepers in the cleaning of guest rooms
- Emptying trash cans
- Stripping beds of dirty linen
- Taking dirty linen to the laundry room
- Disposing of trash
- Re-stocking guest rooms with items (soaps, shampoos etc.)
- Keeping the housekeeping storage closets properly stocked with the correct mix of linens/towels and room items
- Bringing guests items that they request (more towels/pillows etc.)
- Vacuuming hallways and cleaning carpets
- Sweeping and tidying outside areas, removing sand that has entered the parking areas, common areas, and lobby
- Watering and maintaining plants, grass or flowers as required
- Helping clean dirty linens and towels

What You’ll Be Doing
The Houseman is the backbone of a great hotel – the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Delivering clean linens, towels and supplies to housekeeping staff and guest floors
- Collecting and transporting laundry, trash and recycling
- Keeping hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators and public restrooms spotless
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and light maintenance touch-ups
- Assisting the housekeeping team with room turnovers during busy check-in days
- Helping guests with luggage or directions with a friendly smile
- Maintaining the pool deck and outdoor areas so they always look guest-ready

- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program
