Job duties
- Deliver food to guest tables by picking up orders from the kitchen and bringing them promptly.
- Pay special attention to table numbers and seat orders when delivering food.
- Answer guests' questions about the food when it is delivered to the table.
- Relay drink or special food requests from guests to the server.
- Assist with stocking items in the kitchen and storerooms.
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Clear dishes and utensils from tables so new customers can be seated.
- Spray and wipe down tables using proper cleaner and rags.
- Sweep floors.
- Maintain the server station area, ensuring items are stocked.
- Keep supervisors and managers informed of situations relating to restaurant operations, guest complaints or concerns, accidents, emergencies, damages, and potential safety hazards.

We’re looking for energetic university students to join our food and beverage team as Food Runners / Bus Persons for the Summer to Fall season – a perfect fit for your Work & Travel USA adventure.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Food Runner/Bus Person you are the heartbeat of our dining room and poolside service. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Delivering freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests quickly and with a smile
- Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables so guests always get a perfect first impression
- Restocking service stations with glassware, silverware, linens and condiments
- Supporting servers and bartenders during busy breakfast and dinner rushes
- Helping keep the dining area, patio and service areas clean, safe and welcoming
- Answering simple guest questions and pointing them toward the best beach spots in town

- University students aged 18–25 enrolled in the Work & Travel USA program

- Ability to stay on your feet, move quickly and lift trays in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- No previous experience required – enthusiasm matters most!
