About the employer
Moonlight Basin is a private club set in a secluded alpine valley in Big Sky, Montana, spanning thousands of acres in one of the most natural settings in the world. It's surrounded by the Lee-Metcalf Wilderness, the Gallatin National Forest and the Spanish Peaks, with Yellowstone National Park and Bozeman each about an hour away.
As a J-1 team member you'll work in a fast-paced hospitality environment alongside people from all over the world, gaining hands-on experience in teamwork and the highest levels of service. On days off, many team members head to Bozeman for shopping, movies and concerts, or enjoy farmers markets and outdoor adventures in Big Sky.
The job as Housekeeper
What you'll do
- Clean and reset guest areas and bathrooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Scrub, sanitize, and wipe surfaces; empty trash and recycling
- Clean kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces within homes
- Wash dishes and maintain clean kitchen areas
- Straighten and organize furniture
- Service multiple homes and public spaces during each workday
- Provide courteous, helpful service to members and guests, communicating any requests or preferences to supervisors
- Promote a positive image of the property through a pleasant, professional demeanor
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes

Housing
The employer arranges fully furnished housing in the Town Center area of Big Sky, 15 minutes from the Moonlight Basin Lodge. Rooms are shared by 2 people; you may request a roommate, though pairings aren't guaranteed. Units include internet, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and easy access to transportation. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
