The job as Line Cook
What you'll do
- Experience with Grill and Fryers
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Set up and stock the kitchen and cooking stations before shifts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Properly handle, store, and rotate food
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help with dishes, cleaning, restocking, and other kitchen duties as needed
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working as part of a team
- Following a check list provided by owners and managers
