Wilderness at the Smokies is a large waterpark resort and family adventure destination in Sevierville, Tennessee, a popular tourist area near the Smoky Mountains. It is home to the Wild WaterDome, Tennessee's largest indoor waterpark, two outdoor waterparks, a lazy river, and Soaky Mountain Waterpark.
Positions are available in Maintenance, Lifeguard, and Food & Beverage. As a seasonal student you get discounts to area attractions, discounted meals and retail outlet discounts, and you can swim in the waterpark on approved days. Job duties
- Pressure wash all surfaces of the Wild Water Dome floor and stair towers weekly
- Clean all drains in the Wild Water Dome
- Dust/clean air handler return vents as needed
- Pressure wash Lake Wilderness slide tower weekly
- Pressure wash Salamander Springs slide tower weekly
- Assist in water park fencing repairs
- Spot pressure wash the outdoor water park walkways as needed
- All other duties assigned by manager

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 program
- Conversational English – enough to understand instructions and greet guests
- Physically fit and comfortable standing, walking, bending and lifting during your shift
- Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented – guests notice clean spaces!
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a team
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and US holidays
- Ability to arrive for the Summer to Fall season and stay for the full contracted period
