Positions are available in Maintenance, Lifeguard, and Food & Beverage. Job duties
- Inflate tubes and rafts
- Build mats
- Patch tubes and rafts
- Repair mats, flow boards, and body boards
- Transport tubes, rafts, and mats to and from rides and attractions
- Perform pre-operation and during operation inspections on tubes, rafts, and mats to ensure they meet the operational standard
- Ensure the pars for all rides and attractions are met
- Keep work area clean and free of debris
- Track and report all completed work in the work logs
- Follow protocols set by TOSHA, EPA, and Soaky Mountain Waterpark
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Tube Repair Technician you are the person who keeps thousands of guests safely floating every single day. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting inner tubes, rafts and floats for leaks, punctures and worn seams
- Patching, gluing and repairing tubes using specialised tools and materials
- Inflating and deflating tubes to the correct pressure and testing them for safety
- Sorting, transporting and organising tubes around the waterpark and storage areas
- Keeping the repair shop clean, tidy and well-stocked
- Reporting damaged equipment and safety concerns to your supervisor
- Assisting the wider maintenance team with basic tasks when needed
No previous experience is required – your American supervisors will train you on everything from the first day. What matters most is a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational English – enough to understand instructions and communicate with your team
- Ability to stand, bend and lift tubes for the length of your shift (physical job!)
- Comfortable working in a warm, humid waterpark environment
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays – that’s when the resort is busiest
