Imagine waking up every morning surrounded by mesas, canyons and the ancient cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Pueblo people. Aramark Destinations Mesa Verde is looking for energetic university students to join its housekeeping team in Mancos, Colorado – the gateway community to the legendary Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is more than a summer job. It is a chance to become part of a young, international team, improve your English every single day, and explore one of the most spectacular corners of the American Southwest during your free time.
Your Role as a Housekeeper
As a member of the housekeeping team, you will help create a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for guests who travel from all over the world to visit the park. Your daily duties will include:
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, cabins and lodge units
- Changing bed linens, making beds and replacing towels and amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitising bathrooms
- Restocking housekeeping carts and managing linen and supply inventory
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas such as lobbies, hallways and restrooms
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
- Delivering friendly, professional service to guests with a smile

- Hourly rate: $15.00 per hour
- Guaranteed hours: approximately 35 hours per week

Requirements
- Full-time university student, aged 18–25, eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA programme
- Conversational English (upper-beginner to intermediate and above)
- Good physical condition – the role involves standing, bending, lifting and walking for most of the shift
- Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and a flexible schedule
- Positive, team-first mindset and a genuine desire to help guests
- Comfortable living in a remote, small-town natural setting
