Imagine starting your shift with the sun rising over snow-capped peaks, the smell of freshly ground espresso in the air, and a line of excited hikers ready to fuel up before conquering the legendary Going-To-The-Sun Road. That’s a regular morning as a Barista with Glacier Park by Pursuit in West Glacier, Montana – one of the most spectacular Work & Travel USA destinations in the country.
This is more than a summer job. It’s a season inside one of America’s most breathtaking national parks, surrounded by international coworkers who become lifelong friends.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving high-quality espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, smoothies and cold beverages
- Welcoming guests from around the world with a friendly smile and great energy
- Taking orders and handling cash/card transactions accurately on the POS system
- Stocking pastries, grab-and-go items and retail products
- Keeping the coffee bar, equipment and seating area clean, organized and inviting
- Working as part of a fast-paced, supportive hospitality team during peak park season
No barista experience? No problem – full training is provided. All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Summer Work & Travel program
- Conversational to good English communication skills
- Positive attitude, reliability and a genuine love for working with people
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a busy environment
- Availability from summer through fall – flexible with weekends and holidays
- Team player ready for an adventure in a remote mountain location
