The Harrison Group is one of Ocean City’s most respected hospitality names, running award-winning hotels and restaurants along the famous boardwalk and beachfront. Marlin Moon is their signature coastal dining destination, and its morning coffee kiosk is where guests grab their first caffeine fix of the day. What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, iced beverages, smoothies and teas
- Greeting hotel guests and locals with a warm smile and great morning energy
- Taking orders, operating the POS/cash register and handling card payments
- Serving pastries, breakfast sandwiches and grab-and-go items
- Keeping the kiosk clean, stocked and Instagram-ready throughout your shift
- Restocking cups, lids, syrups, milk and supplies
- Working as part of a fun international team with American colleagues
No barista experience? No problem. Full training on the espresso machine and all drink recipes is provided – many students learn a genuinely useful skill they use for years afterwards.

The Package
- Pay: $15.00 per hour
- Tips: Yes! Morning coffee customers tip generously, and tips can significantly boost your weekly income
- Hours: ~35 hours per week guaranteed, with the possibility of a second job for extra earnings
- Schedule: Morning shifts (AM kiosk) – your afternoons and evenings are free
- Season: Summer through Fall – one of the longer contracts available, ideal for students with later semester start dates
- Employer support: A large, experienced Work & Travel host company with a strong track record of hosting international students
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational to good English – you’ll be chatting with guests all morning
- A positive, guest-focused attitude and a genuine smile
- Ability to be a reliable early riser (shifts start early – coffee is a morning business!)
- Comfortable standing during your shift and working in a fast-paced environment
