At La Mer Beachfront Resort in Cape May, New Jersey, you won’t just visit the beach on your day off – the beach is your office. As a Beach & Pool Attendant, you’ll be part of the team that makes every guest’s shore vacation unforgettable, all while earning $16 per hour plus tips on a guaranteed 40-hour work week.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is an active, outdoor, people-focused role – perfect if sitting still isn’t your thing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and arranging beach chairs, loungers, umbrellas and pool furniture each morning
  • Greeting guests with a warm smile, checking passes and helping families find the perfect spot
  • Distributing fresh towels and collecting used ones throughout the day
  • Keeping the pool deck, beach area and surrounding walkways clean, tidy and safe
  • Assisting guests with questions, local recommendations and small requests
  • Monitoring the pool area for cleanliness and reporting any maintenance or safety issues
  • Closing down the beach and pool area at the end of the day – stacking chairs, folding umbrellas and securing equipment

  • Reliable, punctual and ready to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
  • Team player who takes initiative without being asked
