Imagine clocking in just steps from the sparkling shoreline of Lake Winnipesaukee. LocalTopia & The Wicked Loon is a lively dockside hospitality spot in the heart of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire – proudly known as “America’s Oldest Summer Resort.” We’re looking for friendly, energetic international students to join our Counter Help team for the Work & Travel USA season, from summer straight through the spectacular New England fall.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greeting guests with genuine warmth and helping them choose from our menu of local favorites
• Taking orders at the counter and processing payments accurately on the POS system
• Preparing and serving drinks, snacks, ice cream, and quick-service food items
• Keeping the counter, seating, and service areas clean, stocked, and looking sharp
• Restocking supplies, assisting with opening and closing duties, and supporting your teammates during busy dockside rushes
• Answering guest questions about the menu and about fun things to do around Wolfeboro

Wolfeboro is the postcard-perfect American lake town: wooden docks, boat cruises, sandy beaches, ice cream shops, and friendly locals who love meeting international students. Spend your days off swimming, kayaking, hiking the White Mountains, or catching a summer festival downtown. Stay into September and October and you’ll witness the world-famous New England foliage – forests exploding in red, orange, and gold. Boston is only about two hours away for weekend adventures, with easy access to Portland, Maine, and the Atlantic coast.

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
• Conversational English and confidence talking with customers
• A positive, can-do attitude and reliability – you show up on time, every time
• Ability to stand for your shift and work at a quick pace during peak lake-season hours
• Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
• No previous experience required – we’ll train you from day one
