Imagine finishing your shift and walking a few minutes to the rim of a sapphire-blue crater lake formed by an ancient volcanic eruption. That’s daily life when you join ExplorUS at Crater Lake, Oregon as a Busser on the Work & Travel USA program. This is more than a summer job – it’s a chance to become part of one of the most spectacular national parks in the United States while building real hospitality experience and international friendships.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Busser, you are the heartbeat of the dining room. You’ll keep the guest experience smooth, fast and welcoming in a busy restaurant serving visitors from all over the world.

• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables quickly between guests
• Setting tables with clean linens, cutlery, glassware and condiments
• Refilling water glasses and assisting servers during peak service
• Delivering dishware and glassware to the kitchen and dish area
• Keeping dining areas, service stations and beverage stations stocked and spotless
• Greeting guests with a friendly smile and answering simple questions
• Supporting the team with opening and closing side duties

What We’re Looking For

• University student aged 18–25 with valid J-1 Work & Travel sponsorship
• Conversational English and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
• Strong work ethic and ability to work fast in a busy environment
• Comfortable standing, walking and lifting trays for full shifts
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Team player who is excited about living in a remote, nature-focused location
• Availability from summer through fall preferred
