The job as Housekeeping Crew
What you'll do
- Removing and collecting linen for laundering and transporting them to designated areas
- Cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner
- Dusting furniture and equipment, dusting horizontal ledges and high dusting as needed
- Emptying wastebaskets and cleaning them inside and out
- Cleaning tile floors using brooms and mops; sweeping and mopping hard surface floors
- Using chemical based products to clean tubs, sinks, counter tops, mirrors, toilets, door panels and shower curtains
- Replenishing and stocking supplies as needed, keeping supply closets organized and properly stocked, and assisting with food and supply deliveries
- Transporting trash and waste to disposal areas and disposing of trash and recyclables in the proper receptacles
- Making sure rooms are completed in a timely manner and ready for inspection
- Maintaining restrooms, stocking and sanitizing daily (toilets, urinals, and floors) and monitoring restroom supplies during hours of operation
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, patios, tables, food trays, hallways, lounges, public restrooms, showering facilities, and laundry rooms to meet all health and safety standards
- Sanitizing surfaces and removing soil from walls, doors, stalls, kick plates, and light switches
- Removing trash and relining cans as needed to ensure cleanliness and prevent odor, and maintaining recycling and trash areas
- Identifying maintenance and safety issues and reporting them as needed
- Sweeping or hosing off outside areas and maintaining the cleanliness of all ceilings, walls, and floors

Housing is employer-provided and mandatory: three dormitory-style buildings at 1 Mazama Dormitory Drive, Crater Lake, OR 97604, with about 4 people per room and shared bathrooms. Each room has a bed frame, mattress and wardrobe, plus common areas with TVs, microwaves, washers/dryers, air conditioning, gyms and recreation centers, limited shared kitchens, WiFi and a landline. You're assigned the building closest to your work location.
