- Greet all guests as they enter the restaurant in a professional and timely manner
- Follow all seating and table rotation guidelines to monitor flow of each area and ensure prompt and efficient service for all guests while being sensitive to Server responsibilities
- Possess thorough knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Promote teamwork by assisting Servers in dining area when needed
- Ensure host station (including the entrance area) is always well maintained, clean, organized, and presentable

We’re looking for energetic university students to join our hospitality team as Hosts for the Summer to Fall season in Crater Lake National Park, Oregon — one of the most breathtaking places you’ll ever call your workplace.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Host, you’re the face of the guest experience. Your day-to-day includes:
- Greeting and welcoming guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm
- Managing the seating chart, waitlists, and reservations during busy service periods
- Escorting guests to their tables and presenting menus
- Answering questions about the menu, the park, hiking trails, and local attractions
- Keeping the entrance and host station clean, organized, and inviting
- Coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to keep service flowing smoothly
- Assisting with light cleaning, table resets, and closing duties
