Job duties
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Is adaptable to customer needs.
- Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with accurate preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in department policy.
- Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow.
- Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
- May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
- Diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
- Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition.
- Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times.
- Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
- Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.

We’re looking for energetic university students to join our Housekeeping team on the early shift for the Summer to Fall season.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, bathrooms and cabins to Aramark’s high standards
- Changing bed linens, replacing towels and restocking guest amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitizing surfaces in rooms and public areas
- Collecting and transporting laundry and trash to designated areas
- Reporting maintenance issues, lost items and safety concerns to your supervisor
- Greeting guests warmly and helping create a five-star rainforest experience

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational English and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Reliability, punctuality and comfort with early morning starts
- Physical stamina – you’ll be on your feet, bending, lifting and moving throughout your shift
- Attention to detail and pride in a job well done
- Team spirit and a positive attitude in a fast-paced seasonal environment
