General information
Job duties
- Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
- Supply guests or travelers with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest
- Book reservations, rentals, and coordinate registration
- Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions
- Answer phone calls and emails and deliver messages as needed
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Help restocking product and assisting with retail needs
- Communicate closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Wipe down tables and chairs after guest use
- Fill condiment dispensers
- Refill paper goods such as straws and napkins
- Sweep and mop the floors
- Operate special equipment like vacuums, etc.
- Move furniture as needed
- Assist the supervisor with any tasks that are needed

Pay & Schedule
- Hourly rate: $16.66 per hour
- Guaranteed hours: approximately 32 hours per week
- Season: Summer through Fall – one of the longest and most stable seasons available
- Tips: This position does not include tips, but the hourly rate is well above the national average
- Overtime may be available during peak weeks, depending on business needs

Who We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational to good spoken English – you’ll be talking to guests all day
- Friendly, positive, and genuinely enjoy helping people
- Able to stand, walk, and lift moderate weight throughout a shift
- Comfortable living in a remote, small-town natural setting (limited nightlife, incredible nature)
- Flexible with schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Team players who are ready to say “yes” to new tasks
