What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a valid J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Conversational English and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Physical stamina – lots of standing, bending, lifting and walking
- Attention to detail and pride in doing a job properly
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong team spirit
- Flexibility for weekends, holidays and varying shifts
- Comfort with remote living – limited shopping, limited connectivity, unlimited nature
- No previous experience required – full training provided

Denali State Park is 325,000 acres of raw, breathtaking wilderness – forests, alpine tundra, rivers and one unforgettable mountain. During your time off you can hike the Curry Ridge Trail, spot black bears and moose, try river rafting, take a flightseeing tour over the glaciers, and experience nearly 20 hours of daylight in June. When the season turns, you’ll watch the tundra explode into red and gold autumn colors and maybe catch your first northern lights.
You’ll also be living and working alongside students from all over the world. The lodge community becomes a second family – bonfires, group hikes, staff events and friendships that outlast the summer.
About Alaska
Alaska is the ultimate Work & Travel adventure - glaciers, Denali, midnight sun and untouched wilderness. Most students work in remote lodges, national-park resorts and on tour boats, earning some of the highest summer wages in the country.
