General information
Job duties
- Sort and stack clean dishes, carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas, and rewash soiled dishes before delivering
- Wash pots, pans and trays
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
- Set up or break down dishwashing area
- Sweep/mop floors and wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
- Notify Manager anytime dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
- Perform other duties as directed

Requirements
- Full-time university student aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Basic conversational English
- Good physical stamina – you’ll be standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Availability for evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Availability for the full summer-to-fall period
