General information
Job duties
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and decks; make beds; remove trash; replenish supplies.
- Collect, sort, and transport linens for laundering; assist in laundry operations when needed.
- Clean refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, countertops, mirrors, and other fixtures inside and out.
- Vacuum carpets and upholstery; sweep and mop tiled and hard floors; use carpet-cleaning equipment when required.
- Empty wastebaskets, replace liners, and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
- Inspect rooms for required repairs or replacements and report issues to your supervisor or maintenance staff.
- Provide friendly, professional service; respond promptly to guest concerns and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Follow all safety procedures; report hazards or incidents; attend team meetings and required training.
- Be willing to work at different locations or take on other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Earn
- $15.25 per hour – a strong starting rate for the region
- 36 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities for extra hours during peak season

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational English – enough to communicate comfortably with guests and teammates
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work as part of a team
- Physically comfortable with an active role that involves standing, walking, bending and lifting
- A positive, guest-focused attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays – the busiest and most fun times at the beach!
