Job duties
- Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with Rock City Enterprises' mission, culture, and values.
- Model the values of the Culture of Excellence in all guest and partner interactions.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with guests and provide accurate information when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, retail outlets, food outlets, gathering spaces, restrooms, parking lots, and other guest-facing spaces.
- Stay knowledgeable and up to date with Rock City products, offerings and special events as well as other local area attractions.
- Assist with performing opening and closing procedures when assigned and as needed for each team.
- Assist with monitoring the trails, guest gathering spaces, parking lots and bathrooms for litter and clean restrooms according to schedule.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and menu items for food locations.
- Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages.
- Assist with directing traffic and parking guests when instructed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You’ll Be Doing
Working at the front desk and guest services area, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests warmly and processing admission tickets and season passes
- Operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card transactions accurately
- Answering questions about attractions, trails, show times, dining, and local recommendations
- Assisting with guest check-in, group reservations, and special event entries
- Keeping the entrance and ticketing area clean, organized, and inviting
- Working alongside a friendly team of American and international colleagues

Who We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for university students aged 18–25 who are outgoing, reliable, and genuinely enjoy talking to people. You’ll need:
- Good conversational English and confidence speaking with guests
- A friendly, positive attitude and a professional appearance
- Basic math and cash-handling ability
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule
- Valid J-1 Work & Travel visa eligibility and availability from summer through fall
