Rockywold Deephaven Camps is a historic family resort on the shores of Squam Lake in Holderness, New Hampshire, in the Lakes Region near the White Mountains. The property includes 60 lakefront cottages and lodge facilities, and besides family vacations it hosts weddings, retreats and conferences.
Each summer the team includes over 150 seasonal staff from the U.S. and around the world, working as Server, Cook, Maintenance and Housekeeping. In your free time you can use kayaks, sailboats and paddleboards, relax on the staff docks, or hike trails that start right on the property. Weekly outings include movies, river floats, live music and trips to local attractions.

That’s an ordinary morning at Rockywold Deephaven Camps in Holderness, New Hampshire – a legendary family resort on the shores of Squam Lake that has been welcoming guests since 1897. This summer, it could be your American home.
We’re looking for energetic, reliable university students aged 18–25 to join our Housekeeping team for the Summer to Fall season. If you like working with your hands, being part of a close-knit international crew, and finishing your shift with time to swim, hike, or paddle a canoe – keep reading.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing guest cottages and lodge rooms between arrivals
- Changing linens, making beds, and refreshing towels and amenities
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms
- Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance needs
- Handling laundry and helping keep common areas spotless
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helpful attitude
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English – enough to communicate with guests and teammates
- Attention to detail and pride in a job done well
- Good physical stamina – the role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to work as part of a team, including some weekends
- Previous experience is helpful but not required – we train you
