Why Holderness, New Hampshire?
Holderness sits on the shores of beautiful Squam Lake – the setting of the classic film “On Golden Pond” – in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region. On your days off you can swim, kayak and canoe, hike in the nearby White Mountains, visit the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, or catch a bus to Boston (about 2 hours away) for a big-city weekend. If you stay into the fall, you’ll witness New England’s world-famous autumn foliage – forests turning red, orange and gold. It’s one of the most photogenic places in the United States.
