About the employer
The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation operates hospitality, retail and entertainment venues in the small town of Medora, North Dakota, less than 50 miles from Dickinson. Positions include front desk representative, host/cashier, busser, kitchen crew, retail sales and ticketing roles, and theatre operations staff. Housing owned or arranged by the employer is guaranteed for everyone hired, though you may also find your own, and a second job is likely to be available.
The job as Front Desk Representative
What you'll do
- Efficiently manage the operations of the front desk, ensuring minimal time for check-in and checkout
- Warmly and professionally welcome all guests
- Direct guests to appropriate hotel staff for assistance with questions and special requests
- Handle guest issues as they arise
- Treat requests with professionalism, tact, and courteous manner
- Ensure prompt delivery of final bills to guests
- Ensure lobby and shared areas are kept neat and orderly
- Maintain knowledge of Medora, hotel rooms, and hotel policies, and assist guests in making reservations or providing recommendations

Housing
Housing is employer-provided: motel-style rooms and double-occupancy dormitory rooms, so you share with one other person. Blankets, pillows, towels and linens are provided, laundry is free and all TRMF buildings have WiFi. The housing sits on campus around the Life Skills Center, with a fitness center, dining center and lounges; there are no kitchens, but microwaves are available.
