As a Food & Beverage Associate, you’ll be at the heart of the action – serving guests, making friends and building international work experience that looks great on any CV.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same in the food and beverage world. Depending on the outlet you’re placed in – beachside café, poolside bar, snack shop or restaurant – your daily duties may include:
- Greeting and seating guests with a warm, friendly attitude
- Taking food and drink orders and delivering them quickly and accurately
- Preparing simple food items, snacks, coffee and soft drinks
- Operating the cash register and handling card and cash payments
- Keeping tables, counters, service areas and dining spaces clean and stocked
- Restocking supplies, ice, condiments and beverages
- Working as part of a fast-paced, multicultural team during busy beach season

Pay & Benefits
- $15.00 per hour – a strong, reliable base wage
- Tips on top of your hourly rate, which can significantly boost your total earnings during peak season
- 40 guaranteed hours per week, with the possibility of overtime during busy holidays
- Extended season from summer into fall – work longer, earn more and enjoy the beach after the crowds leave
- Training provided – no previous experience required

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program
- Conversational English – you’ll be talking to guests every day
- A positive, guest-focused attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand, walk and lift light items during a busy shift
- Reliability, punctuality and a team-player mindset
- Availability for the full summer-to-fall season, including weekends and U.S. holidays (the busiest and most profitable times!)
