The job as Food and Beverage Associate
What you'll do
- Assist in preparing and assembling food items, ensuring quality, accuracy, and presentation meet company standards.
- Operate a point-of-sale system to process transactions efficiently, handle cash and credit card payments, and provide friendly customer interactions.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures, and keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed, and notify management of low inventory levels.
- Be flexible and assist in any area needed to ensure smooth operations.

The employer does not provide housing, but community options are available: a local contact houses most J-1s and managers share leads for others. Rooms are typically shared by up to 4 people, with shared living spaces, kitchens and bathrooms; there are no private rooms. The workplace is within biking distance and Bethany Beach also has buses and public transport.
