Imagine starting your workday surrounded by towering red sandstone cliffs, turquoise water stretching to the horizon, and the golden Arizona sun rising over Lake Powell. As a Marina Services/Instructor – Boat Rentals with Aramark Destinations South Lake Powell, this isn’t a vacation photo – it’s your summer job.

Located in Page, Arizona, this position puts you right at the heart of one of the most spectacular natural playgrounds in the United States. You’ll be helping guests from around the world begin their own Lake Powell adventures, while building your English skills, confidence, and international work experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming guests at the marina and guiding them through the boat rental process
• Providing safety orientations and instructing renters on how to operate powerboats, kayaks, paddleboards and other watercraft
• Demonstrating navigation basics, safety equipment use, and lake rules and regulations
• Assisting with docking, launching, fueling and returning rental vessels
• Inspecting boats for cleanliness, fuel levels and damage before and after rentals
• Handling reservations, paperwork and rental agreements with a friendly, professional attitude
• Keeping the marina area clean, organized and safe for all guests

Please note: this is an early shift position – you’ll be up with the sunrise, which means your afternoons are often free to explore!

Pay & Benefits

• $14.70 per hour

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 participating in the Work & Travel USA program
• Good conversational English – you’ll be instructing and interacting with guests daily
• Comfortable around water; swimming ability is strongly recommended
• Willingness to work outdoors in a hot, sunny desert climate
• Early riser mentality and reliability – shifts start early in the morning
• Friendly, safety-focused and eager to learn new skills
• No previous boating experience required – full training is provided!
